Financial, Donation and Project Details
"How will our Money be used?" Our desire is to be transparent in how we use donations to Biblia Global while still protecting the workers who are engaged in dangerous front line kingdom work and protecting the sensitive methods of conducting the work we are involved in. We promise to depend on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in all we do; to focus on the hearts of givers rather than a financial bottom line; and to follow Biblical principles of stewardship and integrity.
Rest assured that when you direct a gift for a specific purpose, 100% of that gift will go to that intended purpose. We don't take out any "administration" fee or cut when giving to a specific project. If you give $100 for Bibles for China, $100 will go directly to the printing and delivery of Chinese Bibles. How is this possible? Our organization is lean on administration costs and supported by the efforts of many volunteers. The generous gifts of those who give to our "Where Most Needed" fund help pay for our organizations costs.
We believe God is ultimately the fund-raiser. Our desire is to offer opportunities to involve God’s people in God’s work. We accomplish this by sharing what God is doing around the world, make needs known and then offering corresponding giving, going, and praying opportunities. We desire that each donor honor and obey God with their finances and their giving. We encourage you to pray before giving to us or any other organization and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in where and how you give. If you feel the Lord would have you continue to partner with Biblia Global and the mission he has called us to, we welcome your partnership. We also realize the importance of keeping the giver who has invested money in God’s work informed with reports and testimonies about what God is doing through Biblia Global.*
On rare occasions, we may need to redirect funds if a project is fully funded or no longer workable; sometime a restricted country becomes increasingly dangerous for even indigenous coworkers to work in and funds may need to be directed to a similar project.
2021 Annual ministry and financial Impact Report
Where Most Needed
This is the general fund that allows Biblia Global the greatest amount of freedom to utilize gifts towards the areas of greatest need at any given time. This funding pays for our small administration costs so 100% of gifts given to Bibles projects go towards those designations. The majority of Where Most Needed funding goes to the immediate need to fully finish funding a Bible project. Please consider a reoccurring gift to this fund to allow Biblia Global to continue the ministry God has called us to.
Bibles for Asia
When you give towards this fund, you are giving to print and deliver a Bible to persecuted Christians in Asian countries other than China. These believers can not get a Bible any other way. The price per Bible includes the paper, ink, printing, binding, transportation, and the other steps necessary to ultimately get a Bible into the hands of an Asian believer who has requested one. We don't always disclose the method, people group and specific countries where we are working as this can bring direct persecution to the Christians we are serving. While the price to print and deliver each Bible varies depending upon the transportation method, language and country we are working in, each Bible generally costs between $2.50 and $8 per Bible. We feel this is an extremely efficient process and we invest in a highly durable product, so the money you give for each Bible lasts many times longer than a less expensive, less durable Bible. This is maximizing kingdom resources. We believe that if you are going to give the money and we are going to go to the effort and risk to get a Bible to its final destination, it should last a long time. Unfortunately we cannot preference gifts to go to an individual people group's Bible printing or to a specific Asian country; we instead pool the money given to the Bibles for Asia Project to fund the next Bible printing and/or delivery to the believers in greatest need of Bibles. Bibles for China
When you give towards this fund, you are giving to print and deliver Bibles to believers in China. The paper, ink, printing, binding, shipping, and the other steps necessary to ultimately get a Bible into the hands of a Chinese believer who has requested one. This can be achieved for a remarkable $3.00 per Bible. $3.00 to go from raw materials to the hands of a believer in some of the most remote places of the world! We invest in a highly durable product, so the money you give for each Bible lasts many times longer than a less expensive, less durable Bible. This is maximizing kingdom resources. We believe that if you are going to give the money and we are going to go to the effort and risk to get a Bible to its final destination, it should last a long time! These Bibles go towards house church Christians and persecuted minority groups in China who have requested a Bible through Biblia Global or one of our contacts. In Act 16, while Paul and his companions were in Troas, Paul had a vision of a man from Macedonia who said, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." (Acts 16:9). Like Paul's vision to bring the Gospel to the Macedonian man who asked for help, Biblia Global has a vision to get God's Word to God's people who are asking us for resources. When you give towards the Troas Project you are helping to fund the transportation methods, gear and missions teams necessary to get the Word of God to where it's needed, providing encouragement, and developing relationships along the way. This fund is not used to support Biblia Global's operational costs, but is used to support the specific activities, transportation methods, mission teams and gear to get the material to where it is needed.
Tax exempt information:
Biblia Global is a 501(c)(3) organization exempt from Federal taxes. All contributions to Biblia Global are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law and are made with the understanding that Biblia Global has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. By making a donation to Biblia Global, the donor understands that the charitable donation is completed and is not refundable. In the event that a project described is fully funded, cancelled, or put on hold, the excess funds will be reassigned to a need which most closely corresponds to the project for which the funds were originally given towards
OUR DESIRE FOR DONORS
Our desire is that each donor honor and obey God with their finances and their giving. We encourage you to pray before giving to us or any other organization and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in where and how you give. If you feel the Lord would have you partner with Biblia Global and the mission he has called us to, we welcome your partnership!
For our part, we promise to depend on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in all we do; to focus on the hearts of givers rather than a financial bottom line; and to follow Biblical principles of stewardship and integrity. We will never share or sell a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
OUR VISION FOR FUND RAISING
Our method of raising funding is not one of asking, begging, or guilting people to donate money. We won’t create an artificial crisis in order to play on people’s fears and emotions to motivate them to donate money. We will not focus on the bottom line and simply meeting budget goals. We do not want people to donate money because they get something earthly in return, like premiums, naming opportunities, or membership in VIP clubs.
We instead desire that all Christians experience whole life transformation and Christian maturity, falling in line with our larger organization mission. We believe that generous Christian giving is the result of the transformation of a person’s character as he or she is conformed to the image of Christ, becoming generous back towards God in every area of their lives as Christ is generous, whether or not the donor gives to Biblia Global. The spiritual transformation process is one of growing giver’s hearts to be rich back towards God as He has been rich towards them in giving His son Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin. Fund raising for Biblia Globa, then, is seen as a part of discipleship and spiritual formation – we seek to cultivate spiritual maturity and facilitate heart transformation in the donor.
Fund raising for Biblia Global is offering opportunities to involve God’s people in God’s work. We will share what God is doing around the world and then make the need known while offering corresponding giving opportunities. It is then up to the donor to decide if God is leading them to give to our organization. God motivates people to give. God moves in people’s hearts. God is ultimately the fund-raiser.
We realize the importance of keeping the giver who has invested money in God’s work informed with reports and feedback, sharing what God and Biblia Global are doing. *
